作用:
為一非典型抗精神病藥物，能與多種神經介質受體作用，在大腦中與serotonin（5HT2)受體的親和力，較之對dopamine D1及D2受體的親和力高，也對histaminergic及α1-adrenergic受體具有高親和力，對α2-adrenergic受體親和力較低，但對cholinergic miscarinic或benzodiazepine受
適應症:
思覺失調症、雙極性疾患之躁症發作
用法用量:
Usual effective dose range: 400-800 mg/day. Elderly & patients w/ renal or hepatic impairment Initial dose: 25 mg/day, increase in steps of 25-50 mg to an effective dose
副作用:
嗜睡、頭暈、口乾、輕微無力、便秘、心搏過速、消化不良
